Let go of the emtoion you've invested in your home. Be detached, using a business-like manner in your negotiations. You'll definetly have an advantage over those who get caught up emotionally in the situation.

Emotions can make decision making unclear and prolong the negotiation process. If you consider selling your home as a business transaction then you can look at the facts and weigh the pro's and con's easier then if you bring you emotions or memories into the home. You must remember, the home may hold alot of precious memories for you and your family which is priceless...but a buyer will not see it that way.
